Education Hour 9:15 AM
We have education for children and adults at 9:15 AM.
Sunday School:
We have classes for children age 3 through high school.
We currently have 30 children registered in our Sunday
School.
Sunday School begins with an opening and Calvary Angels
Choir practice and once each month the children sing the
songs they have learned at the 10:30 AM worship service.
Other opportunities for children's participation in
worship are alsoencouraged.
Pre-K to 6th Grade: We curretnly use the Augsburg
Fortress curriculum series "Witness". The
Witness curriculum is committed to teaching the salvation
story through well loved Bible stories.
Our youth class will begin using the Augsburg Fortress
series "Ignite" for the first time this fall.
The material explores topics that are relevant and
important to teens.
The youth calss is also active in service during worship
helping as acolytes, readers and nursery attendants,
among other duties.

Adult Forums:
Our adult forums are also held at 9:15 AM each Sunday
morning and topics cover a wide range of subjects. You

Worship Hour 10:30 AM
We worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM
Our worship service is a liturgical service that focuses
on music and preaching. We have a fine pipe organ, a
woman's choir, a bell choir and a brass quintet. Our
service themes are planned using the assigned texts and
the historic church year calendar. We have a children's
sermon each Sunday and put a high priority on
extemporaneous preaching. Our goal is to present the
Gospel each Sunday morning with purpose, passion and
power.
We have Communion on the first Sunday of every month as
well as on other festival Sundays as announced.
Other Services
Thanksgiving:
We worship on Thanksgiving Eve at 7:00 PM
Christmas:
Christmas Eve Candlelight service 5:00 PM
Lent:
During Lent we worship on Wednesday evenings at
7:00 PM. These services are preceded by a soup
supper at 6:00 PM.
Summer:
We continue to worship at 10:30 AM during the
summer months.
