Sister Congregation

After the break up of the Soviet Union, Calvary initiated a sister congregation relationship in 1993 with our brothers and sisters in Christ at St. Catherine's Evangelical Lutheran church in St. Petersburg, Russia. This relationship has intensified over the years and has been of significant benefit to both congregations. Members of our congregation have visited St. Catherine's on 4 different occasions in support of various projects and we have hosted various members of St. .Catherine’s leadership here in Edina on several occasions.

Calvary members Gary and Tanya Lehr were instrumental in establishing this tie and continue to be our liaison to St. Catherine’s.
